The meanings of these two words are interchangeable but show how society turns one word into a derogatory term. We also hear dietician and nutritionist thrown around as if they fill different positions. There are different credentials that society has put on the two titles but its best to be informed and to research your outcome. The definition of diet is the kinds of food that a person, animal, or community habitually eats and nutrition’s definition is the process of providing or obtaining the food necessary for health and growth. At the end of the day, if you call it a diet or your nutrition, make it a lifestyle change. This should increase your opportunity for success. We will discuss in later post ‘clean eating’ and some recipes that we like to use.
So if the word diet is bad, why would anyone go to a dietitian for help?
