The meanings of these two words are interchangeable but show how society turns one word into a derogatory term. We also hear dietician and nutritionist thrown around as if they fill different positions. There are different credentials that society has put on the two titles but its best to be informed and to research your outcome. The definition of diet is the kinds of food that a person, animal, or community habitually eats and nutrition’s definition is the process of providing or obtaining the food necessary for health and growth.
